Eligible Criteria | To be eligible for Ford Mobility Motoring assistance any/all modifications made to an eligible vehicle must in their entirety make the vehicle viably useful for the individual(s) for whom the modification is being made. Claims for modifications that may, in part, be commonly recognized as consistent with mobility modifications, but by themselves do not create a completed vehicle for use by the intended individual(s) are not eligible. All new 2013/2014/2015/2016/2017 Model Lincoln vehicles sold or leased during the program period. Eligible vehicles must have installation of the qualifying adaptive equipment initiated within one year of reported purchase/lease date to the ultimate consumer. Qualifying adaptive driving or assistance equipment includes but is not limited to: - Wheelchair or Scooter Carriers, Lifts, Hoists or Ramp Equipment - Wheelchair Restraint Systems - Hand or Other Driving Controls/Steering Devices - Power Assist Seating - Wheelchair Toppers Major structural vehicle modifications to accommodate the installation of wheel chair lift or ramp MUST be completed by a Ford Authorized Qualified Vehicle Modifier (QVM) to be eligible for reimbursement. This change will be effective for any units modified after March 31, 2011. Please visit www.fleet.ford.com/truckbbas for a complete list of QVMs. - Examples of major structural vehicle modifications include, but are not limited to, raised roofs or door openings and lowered floors. Non-structural vehicle modifications such as bolt on items or driving aids do not require the work to be completed by a QVM. Equipment without an obvious medical need such as but not limited to: assist handles, keyless entry, keyless ignition switch, headrest adjustment, seat modifications, seat belt extenders, special mirrors, running boards, pedal extensions, and remote lift gate opener will require additional documentation, i.e. prescription clearly detailing the physical disability, prepared by a licensed or certified medical professional. - Final paid vehicles are eligible. - Fleet and government price concession units are eligible for the Mobility Motoring Program Incentive in addition to any Fleet Incentive for which they qualify. - Dealer demos or driver education units are eligible.
Ineligible Criteria | Raised roof and lowered floor conversions alone do not meet the eligibility requirements. Documentation must show that mobility adaptive equipment (such as wheelchair lift, ramp or adaptive controls) was installed on the vehicle. Major structural vehicle modifications completed by a non-QVM after March 31, 2011 are not eligible. Factory installed options such as air conditioning, running boards, lumbar seats and power windows are not considered eligible under the terms of the program.
Incentive Claiming | - To initiate a claim, all customer, vehicle sales and adaptive equipment documentation must be uploaded electronically (PDF, jpg, tiff, giff) to Program Headquarters via the Online Program Enrollment Website. This is done by the dealership. |
