The Jason Nelson Award is awarded annually to the employee who best exemplifies the spirt of Jason Nelson, our late employee who was taken from us far too early and way too young. Jason displayed a strong work ethic, excellence in results, integrity and unselfish leadership in his everyday work. 

Landmark employees cast their vote at the end of the year for the employee they believe to be most deserving of the award. It consists of a substantial monetary award and a trophy for display.

 2016 Jason Nelson Award Recipients Monty Chandler and Phil Luna


For the 2016 Jason Nelson Award we had another tie! We are proud to announce this year's winners Monty Chandler and Phil Luna!


Phil, our longtime Assistant Manager in our Award Winning Collision Center, stepped up and kept the shop running smoothly while Doug the Manager was out ill. He went the extra mile and did double duty in managing the shop. He was recognized by the employees in the store for going the extra mile. Thanks Phil!


Also from our Collision Center, Monty, our Head Painter was voted to receive the Jason Nelson Award. Monty is always one of the first working and helps keep the crazy pace in the Collision Center going smoothly. His devotion and quality of work contribute to making Landmark Collision Center on of the very best in Colorado! Thanks Monty!

2015 Jason Nelson Award Recipients Alex Torres and Merrill Urdahl

For the 2015 Jason Nelson Award we had another tie! Pictured left to right we have Alex Torres and Merrill Urdahl. 

Alex is a Certified Technician that always goes the extra mile for his co-workers and customers. His positive, can-do attitude makes him a pleasure to work with. His nominating co-workers stated that "Alex will do anything anyone asks and he loves what he does."

From our Parts Department, we have Master Certified Parts Counterman, Merrill Urdahl. Merrill has been described by his co-workers as a team player who always helps everyone. He keeps things light, warmhearted and fun. Merrill works early, stays late when called upon and has a "dealership-first attitude."

Danen is a Master Certified Service Advisor and his customers truly experience the very best in the industry. Danen is famous for knowing most of his long term clients by name and by his enthusiastic greeting.

2013 Jason Nelson Award Recipients Octavio and Linda

Octavio Bello-Castro (Service Porter - Since 2008) and Linda Wolf (Receptionist - since 2005) received their commemorative trophies. We are extremely proud of them and their amazing work ethic. 

Octavio is constantly working hard for our guests and is always on the move. 

Linda's friendly greeting and the phrase "It will be my pleasure to connect you" have become the standard that our clients expect and love.
